Synopsis

Hoppers (also known as Jumpers in some countries) is a 2026 American animated science fiction comedy film produced by Pixar Animation Studios for Walt Disney Pictures. It is the 30th feature-length animated film from Pixar. Directed by Daniel Chong (known for his work on "Bolt" and "Minions"), the screenplay was written by Jesse Andrews based on a story by Chong and Andrews. The music was composed by Mark Mothersbaugh (Devo, "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou").

Plot

In a world where scientists have invented "hopping" technology — transferring human consciousness into realistic robotic animals — college student Mabel Tanaka (voiced by Piper Curda), a huge animal lover, gets the chance to try out this technology. Transformed into a robot beaver, she infiltrates the animal world to communicate with its inhabitants. But instead of an idyll, Mabel discovers hidden conflicts, secrets, and dangers that go far beyond her imagination. She must team up with new friends — including the charismatic beaver King George (Bobby Moynihan) — to save animal society from a threat.
