Jumanji: Open World (2026)

Overview

Jumanji: Open World is an upcoming American action, adventure, and fantasy film scheduled for release on December 25, 2026. It is the third and, according to some sources, final installment of the modern Jumanji trilogy. The film is directed by Jake Kasdan, who also participated in the creation of the previous parts.

The main characters return: Dwayne Johnson as Dr. Smolder Bravestone, Kevin Hart as Moose Finbar, Jack Black as Professor Sheldon Oberon, and Karen Gillan as Ruby Roundhouse. The cast also includes Alex Wolff, Nick Jonas, Danny DeVito, and others.

According to the plot, the heroes, who have already been trapped in the world of Jumanji twice, face a new challenge: the game goes beyond the console and invades the real world. They will have to fight new threats, survive in unexpected situations, and restore order before reality changes forever.

The film is in post-production, with filming completed on March 30, 2026. The music for the film was composed by Henry Jackman.
