Synopsis
Overview
Positano is a 2026 romantic crime film directed by Daniel Roher, known for the documentary Tuner. At the center of the story are two rival thieves played by Matthew McConaughey and Zoë Saldana: a dangerous game of cat and mouse unfolds between the characters against a backdrop of romantic tension.
The project is a Netflix film; the acting duo was confirmed in late 2025, and filming began in Italy in May 2026. Interestingly, despite the title, a significant portion of the shooting did not actually take place in Positano itself. The film is a new original project that blends romance and crime thriller elements.
