Resident Evil: Afterlife is a 2010 American science fiction action film with horror elements, directed by Paul W. S. Anderson. The film is the fourth installment in the original Resident Evil film series, based on the video game series of the same name by Capcom, and a direct sequel to Resident Evil: Extinction (2007). It is the first film in the series shot in 3D. Plot: After the events of the previous film, Alice (Milla Jovovich) continues her fight against the Umbrella Corporation. She travels to Japan to take revenge on Albert Wesker, but he strips her of her superhuman abilities. Later, Alice goes in search of a safe haven called Arcadia, which is rumored to be a refuge for survivors. Her journey leads her to Los Angeles, where she finds a group of survivors holed up in a prison.
