Rocky II (1979)

Overview

After an exhausting fight with champion Apollo Creed, Rocky Balboa tries to start a new life: he marries Adrian, spends the money he earned, but quickly realizes he is not suited for ordinary work. Meanwhile, Creed, whose reputation suffered because he couldn't knock out an unknown boxer, demands a rematch. Despite health problems and his wife's opposition, Rocky agrees to a second fight to prove to himself and the world that he is not just a lucky fluke. The film ends with a tense bout in which both boxers fall from a blow, but Rocky manages to get to his feet last and becomes the new champion.
