Plot

In 2029, the world is ruled by machines that have nearly wiped out humanity. Rebels led by John Connor fight for survival. To prevent Connor's birth, the machines send a cyborg Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) back in time to 1984, tasked with killing Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton), the mother of the future leader. Humanity sends soldier Kyle Reese (Michael Biehn) after it to protect Sarah. A deadly chase unfolds, changing the course of history.
