Ocean's Eleven Prequel (2027)

Prequel to "Ocean's Eleven" — an upcoming American crime heist film set in the universe of the "Ocean's" franchise. The film is a prequel to Steven Soderbergh's trilogy (2001–2007) and tells the story of Danny Ocean's parents — two criminal geniuses who taught him everything he knows. The events take place in 1962 during the Monaco Grand Prix, where the couple plans and executes a grand heist.

Plot:

According to Margot Robbie, who produces the film through her company LuckyChap and stars in the lead role, audiences will see Danny Ocean's parents "in their prime." They are masters of their craft who conceive an epic theft against the backdrop of the prestigious Formula 1 race in Monte Carlo. Plot details are kept strictly secret, but it is known that the script was written by Bradley Cooper, who will also direct and play one of the lead roles (likely Danny's father).

Production:

• Director: Bradley Cooper (after the project was left by Lee Isaac Chung and Jay Roach).
• Writers: Bradley Cooper, Carrie Solomon (also credited are George Clayton Johnson and Charles Randolph, likely for original characters).
• Producers: Margot Robbie (LuckyChap), Bradley Cooper and others.
• Studio: Warner Bros. Pictures.
• Cast: Margot Robbie, Bradley Cooper, Josh Gad (joined in July 2026). Other actors have not yet been announced.

Release Date: June 25, 2027 (theatrical release).
