Yaga (2026)

Yaga is a Canadian mystery thriller series that reimagines Slavic folklore about Baba Yaga. The plot revolves around private detective Rapp (Noah Reid), who arrives in a small coastal town to investigate the disappearance of Henry Park (Hudson Williams), the young heir to a powerful fishing empire. During the investigation, he encounters distrustful local detective Carson (Clark Backo), charismatic university professor Catherine (Carrie-Anne Moss), who has a taste for younger men, and a labyrinth of enigmatic suspects, secret lives, and ancient magic.

The series is created for the Canadian streaming service Crave and will be its first half-hour drama. The premiere is scheduled for October 2026. The series consists of 8 episodes of 30 minutes each, but an option of 4 episodes of 60 minutes is available for international buyers.
